At Sessions Health, trust is paramount to those we serve. In light of recent changes to terms and conditions of some technology companies, we feel compelled to share that Sessions Health will stay committed to protecting data and privacy for you and your clients. We go beyond HIPAA rules and adhere to strong ethical standards, mirroring the principles therapists abide by. First, we must never cause harm. Second, the products we deliver must be beneficial. We also emphasize autonomy, giving each user the choice to utilize our features or choose not to use our services. Last, we promise veracity: always being transparent about what we can and cannot do.

Furthermore, you can trust that:

Sessions Health does not own your data. We will never sell your data. We will not share your data with any other company unless it’s required for the services you use (ex. Submitting electronic claims through our clearinghouse or processing credit card transactions through Stripe), and when we do, we’ll always do so following HIPAA rules. We will destroy your data if you choose to no longer be a customer.
Sessions Health does not use your data for AI training. AI has many advantages, and we may introduce more efficient processes using AI for your benefit in the future, but we pledge to never use your data without your knowledge and will provide a means to opt-out.
Sessions Health does not record your telehealth video or collect information about the content of your sessions.
Sessions Health does not share data with any government entities unless we are required to comply with a court order.
Sessions Health will always remain a reliable HIPAA-compliant choice. We will always safeguard your PHI and PII.
