Client Portal View: Secure Messaging
This article is intended to show how your clients may access and send / receive secure messages via their portal account. You may review our Using the Client Portal tutorial for more information.
When the client logs into their client portal, their secure messaging icon will be displayed at the top right of the dashboard beside their profile initials.

Note: The Secure Message feature will need to be enabled at the account level via Account Settings > Portal > Portal Features, and client level via Clients > [Client Name] > Portal > Portal Features for the message icon to display.
Clicking on the secure message icon will open the chat box and the client may select their practitioner and add a message.

Important: Currently secure messages may only be sent to one individual at a time.
Your client may add attachments to their secure message, or add personality via emojis.

New notifications from the practitioner to the client will appear as a red number on the secure message icon.
