Insights: Bill Status

The Bill Status report is used for an overview broken down by individual bills.

This report includes:

  • Date (this is the bill creation date)
  • Bill ID
  • Practitioner
  • Client
  • Bill Status
    • Complete - The bill has been fully paid by the client and/or the insurance payer.
    • Open - The bill has been created but has not been fully paid by the client and/or the insurance payer.
  • Total Amount of the bill
  • Client Paid amount
  • Insurance Paid amount

Bill Status Report

Report Features

To refine your report for specific insights, you can filter by the following:

  • Date Range: Use the dropdown arrow next to the date range box to select from preset options (such as Past Month, This Month, and more).
  • Custom Range: For more control, click directly on the start and end dates to set a custom date range.
  • Members: Select the practitioner(s) you want to include from the Members list to narrow the report to their data only. It defaults to "All". Deselect this checkbox to choose specific member(s).
  • Clients: Search by a client’s name to filter the report to their data.
  • Status: Adjust the report by All bill status or specific ones: Unpaid, Complete, Paid

As with all Sessions Health insights reports, you can download the Bill Status report as a .CSV file by clicking Download in the top right hand corner.
