Client View: Adding, Removing and Labeling Payment Methods
This support article is designed to guide you through manually adding or removing a payment method, as well as entering a customized label for your saved credit cards in your Client Portal.

Adding a Payment Method
Step 1: To manually save a credit or debit card to your portal, click the Billing tab in the top center toolbar. Then, navigate to the My Payment Methods area in the far right-hand panel and click Add Payment Method.
Step 2: In the Add Card pop-up window, you'll have the option to:
- Enter card nickname (optional) to label your payment method.
- Enter your card details, then click Save.
Once saved, your card's last four digits and expiration date should be displayed under the My Payment Methods section, and it will automatically be saved as the Default card.
Modifying Card Nicknames
If you have any existing payment methods, you can relabel your card's nickname anytime. Start on your Billing page in your client portal and navigate to the My Payment Methods area on the right-hand side of the screen. Click the three-dot menu next to the card you wish to rename and select Edit.
From the "Edit Credit Card" pop-up modal, enter your card's new nickname in the Card descriptor field, then click Save Changes.
Adding Multiple Payment Methods
To add another credit/debit card, simply click Add Payment Method again and repeat the steps from the previous section. Additional cards will be listed under My Payment Methods in the order they're added.
Note: The system will show both cards as a Default. Refer to the "Setting a Default Card" section for instructions on how to set your preferred card as a default.
Removing a Credit Card
Once multiple cards are listed under the Billing tab > My Payment Methods section, a “…” menu will appear next to each card. To remove a card, click the “…” menu next to the card you wish to delete and select Remove. Confirm by selecting Remove again on the "Are you sure?" pop-up.
Note: Once a payment method has been added, the system requires at least one card to remain on file. If you are interested in removing all cards from your profile, please contact your therapist directly for assistance.
If neither the Billing tab nor the My Payment Methods section is visible in your Client Portal account, please reach out to your therapist for further assistance.
