Telehealth Options
For clients: Each provider has their own unique telehealth URL. If you are trying to find the link for your telehealth appointment, please contact your provider or email us at support@sessionshealth.com.
Sessions Health gives you the option to use the Sessions Health integrated telehealth or enter the telehealth URL of a different platform. The URL link will automatically be included in the appointment when you schedule an appointment with a telehealth service location. Your appointment reminders will also include your telehealth link as long as you have the Appointment Location variable included in your reminder template. See Sending telehealth links for details on setting it up.
Configure your telehealth
To begin, go to your Account Settings > Telehealth. Here, Administrators on the account may configure telehealth for each practitioner in your practice by clicking the Setup Telehealth button.
You can choose to select the Sessions Integrated Telehealth or a 3rd party telehealth platform.
Note: If choosing a 3rd party telehealth platform, we only support automatically adding the same telehealth URL (static link) to all future telehealth appointments. You can still add or modify the individual telehealth link from each individual appointment if your telehealth link changes for each appointment.
Setup your telehealth link
Same URL (static link) for all appointments:
If you choose to use Another Telehealth Platform (such as Zoom or Doxy) with the same URL for all appointments, select that option. Then, enter your telehealth link for that platform along with any additional instructions. This information will automatically populate in any appointment you create when the service location is set to Telehealth.
Practitioners on the account can configure Another Telehealth Platform, while only Administrators can initiate Sessions Integrated Telehealth.
Different URL for appointments:
If you're using a 3rd party telehealth platform and the client URL changes each appointment, you’ll want to select the second option. We don’t currently have an integration with other telehealth providers just yet, however, you can always manually add your telehealth link in the URL field of each appointment when scheduling. This ensures your clients always have the right link for their session.
Hint: If using Google Meet with recurring client appointments, you can create a recurring appointment on your Google Calendar to generate a URL, then copy the URL into the next recurring appointment in your Sessions Health calendar. When saved, it will ask if you would like to save it for this and all future appointments. Going forward, you'll use the same URL for that client, avoiding manual URL entries of future appointments for that client.
