Secure Messaging in the Client Portal
This article explains how to send and receive secure messages in the Client Portal. You’ll learn how to start a message, attach files, and delete messages.

Accessing Secure Messaging

Log in to the Client Portal.
- Click Messages in the top navigation.

You will see your message inbox, including any existing conversations.
Sending a Message
🔔 Secure messaging is not for urgent or emergency needs. If you are in crisis or need immediate help, contact emergency services or follow the emergency instructions your practitioner has provided.
To send a secure message:

Click the new message icon or open an existing conversation from the left panel.

Select your practitioner in the To field.

Type your message.
- Click the send icon (arrow).

Your conversation appears in the left panel and updates when replies are received.
Attaching a File to a Message

Open a new or existing message.

Click the paperclip icon.

Select a file from your device.
- Click Send.

Deleting a Message
Deleting a message removes it from the conversation for both you and your practitioner.

Click the three-dot menu next to the message.

Select Delete Message.
- In the confirmation popup, click Delete.
ℹ️ Only the person who sent the message can delete it.
